Try to visit the Tate Modern on a weekend evening...

I found so many great tips here before (and during) my most recent UK trip this Fall that I felt it was only right to give back even in a small way.

Visit the Tate Modern on a Friday or Saturday, start late in the afternoon, and when you are done, proceed to the top floor and enjoy the view!

If you are nursing a cup of coffee or tea at the moment, feel free to read though an account of my experience there at http://ithinkiamgettinglost.blogspot.com/2008/10/tate-modern-and-why-i-love-getting-lost.html :)

Happy travels!

Hi Joel. What is the cost for the Tate museum? I missed it on my last visit.

Hey Eli!

Entrance to the Tate Modern is free except for access to 'major exhibitions' that requires for you to pay an entrance fee to get in. My cousin and I didn't find the 'major exhibit' interesting so we walked past it and onto the next floor and other exhibits. So whether you find the 'major exhibit' interesting or not, you will either pay nothing or I believe £8 (could be wrong).

Happy Travels!

Paying "nothing" sounds more my style! There are four of us, and anything we can get free in Europe is a plus.

Where is it located again?

The Millennium Bridge connects St. Paul's Cathedral to the Tate Modern (south side of the Thames). so if you find either St. Paul's or The Millennium Bridge then you'll find the Tate Modern hehe :)

Or you can check out http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/
