Hello! My friends are I are heading to Dublin next week. We already have our Dublin activities planned and have also booked a trip to Giant's Causeway with PaddyWagon Tours. My question is, we would like to visit Wicklow and/or Glendalough, but only for a half day (like leaving around 1). All the tours we have seen are all day. Do you know of any half-day tours? If we take the rail on our own does it go through the scenic parts that we'd like to see?

http://www.glendaloughbus.com Without a car this might be your best option although given the travel time and the 3 hours in Glendalough it's a long half day. Still I wouldn't miss going there. Truly one of the prettiest spots on the planet. http://www.glendalough.ie/getting_around_glendalough.php
