Trim, Ireland B&B

In Rick's book, a triple at the Highfield House B&B in Trim is listed at 100-110 Euros. The other places I've checked (for June), he's pretty on the mark. But this one is 270 Euros when you go to book it. Yikes!
What's up with that?

Nearby in Navan there is an absolutely beautiful B&B called Killyon that you might be interested in. It's on the river, and the house is furnished with antiques and stained glass. Their website is www.killyonguesthouse.ie

I've sent enquires to Crannmor and Tigh Cathain already. If those turn up fully booked, I'll go searching further. I couldn't get the www.killyonguesthouse.ie page to open. Same with White Lodge B&B.

I'm about halfway booked for my trip, so far. I'm waiting on a reply from Dunguaire Castle. I sent in reservations for the feast on a particular night. No use reserving a room in Kinvarra if we can't get into the feast!

Weird that the website for Killyon wouldn't open. I just tried it again and it worked fine.

Whatever the pricing problem was through the DiscoverIreland site, when we went directly to the Highfield House site, it was the right price!

We did check on Killyon also in the meantime. Looks wonderful.
