I would like exact travel directions from London to Rye by train - I think you take a train to Hastings, and then on to Rye, but not sure. So if anyone out there knows how to do this in a day trip, please reply. Thanks, Kay.

You have two options: You can get a train at London Waterloo East, change in Asford and arrive in Rye, total time 1:55. The other option is to get train at London Bridge, change in St Leondards Warrior, arrive in Rye, total time is 2:04. This is a website that will help you nationalrail.co.uk
