Hello - We are experienced house traders who are now trying to decide between two locations - any advice on whether Brussels or The Hague would provide more things to do over a two week period. Thanks
Brussels.
I was going to just say The Hague just to show you the differing opinions here. You'll have to make up your own mind. You'll need to look at a few guidebooks for more details. I used to work for a company based in Brussels and have been there a few times. I was less than thrilled with things to do in the city. You can visit the Grand Platz (sp?) and tour the Waterloo battle site (never have personally because whenever I could have it was pouring rain). There are good short trips to Bruge and other cities. The best part of Brussels is that there are many good trains out of there to a lot better places to visit. The Hague has a nice art museum with a nice collection of Rembrandt era art. It's fairly scenic in the old section(especially compared to Brussels IMHO). You can get around fairly easily to other points in the Netherlands. The Dutch all seem to speak better English than I do. That's not the case for the Belgians.
more things Your query asks about "more". Brussels. You didn't ask about more and better. Shame.
