I'm looking for the best way to get from Cherbourg France to the channel island of Guernsey. Is there a ferry available from the Cherbourg port or is it best to find transportation to St. Malo and ferry from there? What is the best way to get to St. Malo from Cherbourg if that is my only option?

As our trip be getting closer, we are still looking for options to get to Guernsey from Cherbourg via ferry. I understand there is a ferry from Carteret to Guernsey, but would like to know the name of the service and how to get there from the ferry from Ireland in Cherbourg.

From Carteret it's going to be either Manche or Condor. You can hive out your ferry questions on direct.ferries.co.uk.
