We would like to know how to get to the center of these cities from the airports with low cost yet practical transportation.Is there a bus or train that is easy to find that will keep the cost down and get us there quickly?

These days in Copenhagen, you can take the Metro or the regular S-tog train to the center of town - just depends on where exactly your lodgings are located. I'd choose the Metro first - newer and nicer, but the trains are great too.

There is a train station at Copenhagen airport, you can catch a train to the centre of the city.

There is a bus service both in Helsinki and Stockholm to take you to the center of the city. Good luck!
