My daughter is off to study in London and I would like a car to meet her at the airport and take her to University of London Goldsmiths. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks

For a private car service check out Just Airports. They offer a discount for paying cash. The University of London Goldsmiths is in postal code E14. The cash fare for a saloon (sedan) from Heathrow to any address in postal code E14 is £46.

Have you seen the University's Find Us page on the Interweb? For a first arrival in New Cross and New Cross Gate a car might not be a bad idea. After she settles in and understands how to to get to London Bridge and the East End and Croydon she will probably take the Overground to Croydon or train to London Bridge really easily. But New Cross can be a "challenging" area so having door to door to start is what I'd recommend. Once she understands the neighborhood Gatwick will be easy, Heathrow a tad more difficult.
