Hi Gail I see your posting but I really don't see your question. It looks like you have it worked out...

I'm confused. Seems you're headed for Hereford? No rail station at Heathow. To use Paddington or Victoria, you have to get into London from Heathrow. If you want to spend a night in London, make a reservation.

Direct trains from London to Hereford depart from Paddington. Trains making one connection depart from both Paddington and Euston. If the timing is right, you can take a National Express coach (highway bus) directly from Heathrow to Hereford. No need to get to Victoria Coach Station.

Of course there's a rail station at Heathrow. It serves the Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect, both train companies which run trains into Paddington. They are real trains, just not participants in the Oyster or Travelcard programs.

London to Hereford is a long way by coach, especially if you have just arribved. Train is a lot more comfortable, you can get up and walk around. Trains from Heathrow (Heathrow Cooect or Express) arrive at paddington- train to Hereford seems like it leaves from paddington, which makes it convenient
