I am thinking of just waiting until I arrive in Dublin to buy my tickets rather than online. What do you all think? Since I have decided to rent a car from Galway to Clifden/Connemara and back to see the scenery for just 3 days and then take the train from Dublin to Dingle and then Dingle to Galway then another back from Galway to Dublin, all tickets totaled individually for just these three train trips should not be a rip off at the train stations if purchased separately, correct? When I first started planning this two months ago, I was thinking of a rail pass for $200 for 5 train days. I have had no luck via phone reaching the train stations for their fares at the station, so I am unsure of the exact fares. Thanks for your advice.

my total for point to point will be $135 unless I reserve seats
To get from Dingle to Galway by train you will first have to take a bus to Tralee and change to a train there. Not only will it be cheaper, but it will be much faster to take the bus all the way from Dingle to Galway. See the Journey Planner at www.buseireann.ie.
For train fares and timetables go to www.irishrail.ie. The fares you find will be for tickets bought at the station.
