touring Ireland without Rick Steves

I posted the previous question about driving on the left side of the road while in a jet-lagged state, and responses for and against have so far been 50-50. I do remember that when I was in England in 1995, riding in a taxi through town was disorienting, especially through the roundabouts. It would be better for me to join a bus tour. I found one focusing on southwest Ireland that I think has a good itinerary. What's your opinion? http://www.authenticireland.com/tours/view/35/Taste+of+Ireland+Tour I must make the politically correct disclaimer that we would have gone on a Rick Steves tour except that he doesn't have any focusing on southwest Ireland. ;)

This looks similar to the bus tour we did of Ireland many, many years ago. It was very good, though with a different company (can't even remember who right now). I'd say do it.

If the price is right, meets your criteria, and reviews about the tour company are good, go for it.

Most bus tours are going to hit the same "high points", so they won't vary a lot. If southwest Ireland is what you want to see, and this tour does that, it sounds like the perfect fit for you.
