Hi, Has anyone done a tour after boarding the Helsinki-St-Petersburg Ferry? Please do not reply if you have done a tour after getting there on a cruise. I have have contacted many companies and they do NOT want to offer me a tour because I am arriving by ferry. Here is why: cruise passengers get to St-Petersburg around 7am or 7:30am and ferry passengers get there around 9 or 9:30am. Most companies told me it is too much of a hassle to have ferry passenger ''catch up'' with a tour since they arrive later. Any advice on compagnies that offer tours for Ferry passengers? Thank you very much!

We took the ferry from Helsinki to St. Petersburg last June. For convenience we took the ferry company's tour on day 1. On day 2 we used Alla Tours, and on day 3 we had the hotel call a taxi for us. I actually didn't realize there would have been the issue you describe on arrival day. The combination we chose (ferry company and Alla Tours) got us to the places we wanted to visit.
