Wondering if anyone has used tour companies from Southapmton and has a recommendation. We are docking at Southampton and then plan to head to Inverness later in the day. thought that instead of the usual transfer to Gatwick we would try to arrange a tour that would then drop us off at Gatwick. Any suggestions?

hi, i dont know of any tour companies, but Southampon is a neat town. I had to travel there for work, my first time driving and international travel and i enjoyed the town. happy trails.

My office is in Southampton, not too far from the Cunard terminal. I have no first hand knowledge of any tour companies, but you might take a look at the links on this page: http://www.discoversouthampton.co.uk/visit/things-to-do/walks-and-tours Gatwick is a 2 hour train ride from Southampton and I would be surprised if you found an existing tour that happened to be going past the airport at the right time (or at all, come to think of it...), so you must mean a customised, chauffeur-driven kind of tour. If you decided to spend some time in Southampton instead, and then get the train to Gatwick, the new Titanic exhibition is within a few minutes walk of the railway station: http://www.seacitymuseum.co.uk
