Any experiences that anyone would like to share about tour companies who do escorted tours in Ireland, both North and Republic? Any recommendations? Thanks.

My husband and I did a 14 night Ireland tour with Tauck Tours, in June, 2012. Ireland was absolutely fantastic, due to our great tour company. June is a great month to visit Ireland, due to the pretty flowers in abundance. We have been on four Tauck tours. Next month we are going with Tauck on a 20 day tour of Australia and New Zealand.

For a budget trip - I would recommend Gate 1 travel.
I've used them several times and find their tours to be a great value.

Thanks for the replies. I have looked at Steves. I know it would be good. And I've seen the Tauk tours. My wife and daughters went on a Tauk Tour. They had a great time. Both are a bit pricey. Too bad Steves does not offer a shorter tour. I'll check out Gate 1.

My very first overseas trip was Ireland with CIE tours. Had a beautiful surprise birthday cake waiting for me at dinner one evening - courtesy of the tour director. Had great fun, wonderful memories.
