Tony Kirby's Ireland Burren tour

I have gone on Tony's website and he talks about reserving online for his tour. But I was wondering if anyone just showed up around 2 pm for his 2:30pm two hour tour? I would be there on a Tuesday in Sept. coming from Galway on our way to Doolin. Can anyone inform me if it would be OK to do it that way? I'm a little hesitate reserving and paying for it in advance.

We wanted to take a Burren tour with Tony as our guide, but we had difficulty reaching him once we were in Ireland. We called several times from the TI in Doolin, but were unable to connect with him. Maybe we should have just showed up. What is his cancellation policy? I have a feeling that he would include you on the tour if you showed up, but I would make the reservation in advance and then if you could not make it call and reschedule. We really regret not going on his tour.

I just reserved a spot for his 2:30 PM Burren tour for the middle of august. You can email him requesting a spot and pay in cash once you arrive. He told me over email there was no need to pre-pay. I hope that helps. Have a great trip!

Thank you Barbara & Lauren! I saw that he was stating the cost of the tour and just figured you had to pay when you reserved with him. I'll book his tour for the day we'll be there as long as I know I can pay when we arrive. I've read so many wonderful comments that I think, like you Barbara, I would regret if we didn't have him. Thank you both again for your responses.
