We are taking a week or more trip to Ireland. Our daughter will be 16 months old when we go. Has anyone stayed at any REALLY family friendly B&Bs or farms? We're pretty open to any location.
Michelle, we used the website imagineireland.com to find the best place for our needs....
if you have the option of staying for one week (usually Saturday to Saturday) in a place that can be your base...you will be able to find a family friendly option that works for you! And it is fun to look at this website as you are planning...
although if you have a 16 month old....you may have limits on your internet time!
we stayed just outside Abbeyfeale in County Limerick and loved the area...it was a great base.
This location may not work for you but we stayed at a B&B in central Ireland near Slieve and Abbyleix called Roundwood. Found it in Sawday's Charming Places to Stay. It is very reasonable and has self catering also. There were guests with a baby when we were there and they have high chairs, etc. It is a very lovely old Georgian home. The couple who own it did evening meals at the time we stayed there. Self catering cottages overlook a beautiful meadow.
