Heading to Stansted on 12 April 2012, Thursday for a 12:40 EJ flight. Staying about 5 minutes from Victoria Station. Two people with a couple of smaller suitcases. Am thinking of taking the Terravision A50 bus to Stansted rather than the Stansted Express. Opinions or suggestions as to which to take would be appreciated.

I would get the Victoria Line to Tottenham Hale and pick up the Stansted Express from there.

I believe there is open seating on the Stansted Express. Personally, I would rather pay £9.00 and ride a little longer on the bus than having to pay £19.00 for the Express from Tottenham Hale or £21.50 from Liverpool Street. If you were taking a morning flight, that would be another matter; but you have plenty of time to get from Victoria to Stansted by bus. Just be sure you take an early enough bus so that there is no chance you will miss easyJet's check-in deadline.

We took a bus from Victoria Station this summer and a 1 hr trip took 3. The traffic is horrible with works going on all the way into London. If we had not taken an earlier bus than we bought tickets for, we would have missed our connection.
