Hi. I am planning a trip with husband and 3 kids. We'll be leaving Newry in the morning to be at the museum for half 10. Hoping to see the Giants Causeway on way to hotel in Portrush. Is this doable? Staying 2 nights but now see there's an airshow on the weekend so planning to go to that on one of the days.

Sherri - From Belfast to Portrush is about 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive. Giant's Causeway is no more than a 20 minute drive from Portrush, so yes I'd say its doable.

In Portrush, 55 North was about our favorite restaurant in Ireland. Great food and spectacular view. Make reservations ahead for upstairs. You might want to check the hours of operations at Giants Causeway.
