Does anyone know how long it takes to go from Thurso (Scotland) to Edinburgh by train? Leaving on Saturday and need to know quick if I can!

According to www.nationalrail.co.uk it should be around 7 1/2 to 8 hours, depending which train you catch.

Thanks. I was wondering how accurate that was. Doesn't leave me much time to jump off for a quick tour of Inverness.
