I am traveling with my husband and 20 year old daughter this summer in Norway. We have scheduled three days in Bergen and three days in Solvorn. We have three additional days to spend in Norway before we head to Stockholm. Recommendations? Another fjord? Oslo?

Take a short flight from Oslo to Kirkenes. Kirkenes is on the Norway/Russian border, great place to visit.

If you rent a car, you could easily drive Bergen-Voss-Flam for the train round trip-Vik stave church--ferry to Balestrand (stay in the OLD part of Kvikne's hotel--drive up to Geiranger fjord (Grande Fjord Hotel has great views)---take the ferry past the spectacular waterfalls--drive back to Bergen. You don't need three days in Bergen---one full day is plenty, we were happy with one very long afternoon. We did this trip in 2005. Driving in Norway is easy---they build tunnels through the mountain tops instead of sending the roads up over the mountain tops.
