The Best of Oslo, and Southern Norway (in November)?
Here is a "best of Southern Norway" list, and it could use a little bit of genuine editing. I spent a lot of time researching items on this list, please read it, and if you are a resident or expert on the region, then feel free to make corrections or additions to the list (as you see fit). Any tips, hints, or favourites based on the criteria listed below will be greatly appreciated. Once complete, our list should help visitors find exactly "the very best in Oslo, and Southern Norway".
PLEASE only respond to this thread if you're interested in helping to edit or contribute items to the list (and please remember to keep suggestions relevant to SOUTHERN Norway ONLY). Thank you.
CRITERIA for LIST:
-memorable/dramatic scenery, landscape photography. Where to find the best (viewpoints, vistas, city views, natural views, panoramas, skylines, sunsets, etc..)?
-the unique outdoors, hikes/hilltops/lookouts, and amazing views?
-lovely/charming streets, cute villages, hidden nooks/places, and magnificent/attractive architecture?
-authentic/unforgettable "local" travel experiences or
-non-typical, interesting/special experiences (full of original character), and unique only to the local area.
-the best freebies (museums, galleries excluded)
Thanks again
