Flew into London for a Fly / drive vacation package. Received vouchers to stay at B & B farm houses. Made reservations a day ahead depending on where we were driving to. A wonderful experience. One stay was at the former hunting lodge of King Henry VI. We actually stayed in his bedroom! The hosts at each stay were accomodating, very friendly, and warm to us. Each evening we stayed with the family and dicussed our different cultures. If you really want to learn about the land and its people, try a B & B vacation.
