Hello! On my trip to England, when I arrive in London in the morning, it will be several hours until I can check-in to my lodging (around 5:00p.m.). Is there a location that I can store luggage for the day? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you!

Actually, I have rented an apartment and was told that there isn't a place to store it there until check-in time.

All of the train stations in London have luggage hold counters.

We left luggage at Paddington train station on our last day, to avoid schlepping it around all morning, and paid 8 GBP per bag [not 4 GBP as previous poster indicated]. The rate was posted at 8 pounds/item for the first 24 hours, then 4 pounds per item per day.
So our 4 bags cost about $60... expensive, but better than the other options.

The left luggage at Victoria Coach Station is cheaper than the Excess Baggage company that has a monopoly of London's airports and train sttaions:
Deposits up to 2 hours: £2 / No weight consideration
Deposits 2-24 hours: £3.50 / Under 20 kg
Deposits 2-24 hours: £5.50 / Over 20 kg
Multiple Days charged at daily rate as above (£3.50/£5.50 by weight)
