I am so looking forward to my trip to Germany& England. I am that travel will not be restricted from California come July. Any thoughts?

Seeing that you're from the Southern part of CA, it would be if you were traveling now. By July, the temperatures will already have been to high to support the growth of swine flu. July-September travel should be great for everyone.
The medical world is looking at this coming fall. They're hoping that the flu won't mutate into a worse combination that will be resistant to the meds that are working at this stage.
We've been seeing this flu fly around here in the SF area. It has been for about two months now. Nasty stuff. Wash your hands and face well after you've been in public. And since you're in South Cal, I would suggest wearing a mask until the temps reach the mid 70's to 80's. Make sure your nutrition is healthy. And doctor your immune system with vitamins. I use Trader Joe's Emergency Powder since it's easy to take during workdays, and a good quality Multi-vitamin and probotic in the morning.
I'm a medical office manager in case you're wondering.

Thanks for the info...taking the necessary precautions (vigilant handwashing) is a must nowadays. By the way, your right...the Pomona area used to be called the Pomona Valley, somewhere along the line we became the IE!? Sure do miss the orange groves that used to be around here...they are long gone. :( Suz

Yes, miles and miles of orange groves all the way out to the Hemet area. I lived in Landers in the high desert for about 18 months. Loved driving through the groves in the spring with the blossom scent in the air (and driving 45mph in the old Dodge).

Where are you going in Germany? It's on our list right after our 10th anniversary in Paris (Feb 2010). We had a layover one night last year when our flight out of Firenze was delayed by a hail storm. Loved the people who worked in Frankfurt. They were all so straight forward, friendly, and very helpful. Can't wait to go back and enjoy two weeks.

By July, no one will be thinking about the H1N1 flu. Flus are more stable in colder weather. Hand washing is always good advice when traveling to promote good health.

Sorry about the delay in posting! Have been limited in movement these past few days due to a nasty burn. :( I will be travelling to Hamburg, Germany and then on to London. Can't wait...(and hopefully no more accidents).
