We are traveling to London around the 12th of April for 2 weeks. We have found accomadations (recommended hostel from this site) in London from the 13th-16th then plan to do an overnighter in Paris. The day we are coming back will be Sunday. Is it difficult to get to Bath in the early evening hours of Sunday, I am assuming it will be quite difficult to pick up a rental car on that day to....thoughts?

Thank you! We went ahead and booked another night in London and planned on getting the car on Monday. We figure we will be to tired to do much of anything else after 2 days in Paris. :o)

Have you looked in to coach or train availability on Sunday? If you really want to go by car, I would recommend going out to one of the airports & renting a car from the airport location. I did that once at Gatwick and it was nice to start my driving when I was outside the city traffic.

You could take the train from Paddington Station to Bath and pick up a car there. There is a train a couple times an hour on Sundays late afternoon early evening. Most rental offices are closed on Sundays other then at the airport so you could go out to Heathrow and pick up a car.
