Sunday Arrival in Dublin What is open?

We arrive in Dublin on Sunday morning. We would like to visit Trinity College and the Book of Kells before driving south. Is it open on Sunday? Are the tourist information offices going to be open on Sunday? We are soooo excited for our first Ireland experience on our own without a schedule but only for 7 days.

Probably visiting their websites would give you the answers that you're looking for. That way you'll know for sure and be able to find out their hours of operation as well.

Do as much research on the net as you possibly can. That way you can get the most out of your 7 days in Ireland.

Enjoy the land of Céad Mile Failte!

I agree with the advice to check the specific web sites. We visited a few years ago, and found some attractions were closed on Monday!

Also, I think we were ripped off taking a cab from the airport into Dublin. At our hotel, the driver insisted that the fare was double on Sunday! Be careful. If there is a rate schedule posted at the airport, take a picture with your digital camera as evidence.

Otherwise, we had a great stay in Dublin, albeit only 2 days. Have fun.
