My husband and I will be traveling to Scotland in the next year. We are looking for good (great will work too) mid-range hotels or B&B's in St. Andrews. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi Martha, My wife and I have stayed at three different B&B's in St. Andrews. We enjoyed the "Brownlees Guest House" the best. Right in the city center and less than a ten minute walk to the golf courses. Tel - +44(0)1334 473868.

My husband and I were there in April and got an amazing deal at the Fairmont in St Andrews. This was a BEAUTIFUL property for about 90 GBP per night (breakfast inclusive). It was a steal for such a gorgeous property! The only downside was that it was slightly out of town but the shuttle service was wonderful.
