Suggestions? Flying central England to western Ireland

We'll be spending a night near Holmfirth (western Yorkshire) then need to get to Dingle (western Ireland). I'm just wondering how someone "in the know" would accomplish this. We'll rent a car once we get to Ireland.

We'll have a good deal of luggage so I think Ryanair is out of the question, but it sure looks like flying is the way to go. If we drove, there would probably be the expense of two nights on the road (times two rooms/night), plus the ferry cost (4 people), plus two days travel time. By flying, we could get there same day.

I guess logical departure points would be airports at Leeds, Manchester, or Liverpool. Arrival points in Ireland might be Cork, Shannon, or even Galway. I see that Kerry has an airport very near our destination, but it looks like only Ryanair flies in there.

Any cheap air suggestions (other than just going to a place like Kayak.com and taking the best they can offer)? Thanks!

Hadn't thought of You Tube. I've been watching some really old (1970's, 80's) episodes on NetFlix, but they only have a few.

NetFlix has a lot more of the old Doctor Who episodes, from the 60's, but that's another story...speaking of which...Rick Steves may be a Time Lord. I don't think he's ever going to age.
