Stratford on Avon accommodations

try "smoothhound" for B&B's in England, used them several times and never disappointed. There is a book at Barnes and Noble with just B&B's in England. Also, have you checked out Rick's books?

I like 'The Stratford.' Stayed there a couple years ago and will again this year. It's fairly new, walkable to town, large rooms, and 109 pounds (with breakfast). http://www.qhotels.co.uk/hotels/the-stratford-warwickshire.aspx

I don't have any specific recommendations for Stratford, but for finding hotels or b and bs, I would highly recommend tripadvisor.com. I would trust it above any travel books.
