Does anyone know if there is a bus tour that will take in both Stonehenge and Avebury?

You might want to check Mad Max Tours, which operates from Bath. They offer a tour of both sites for £27.50 (price increases to £30 after 31 March).

I second the Mad Max. I took the full day tour that visited Stonehenge, Avebury, Lacock and Castle Combe. My guide was great, the group was small, the sites were amazing - it was one of my favorite days in a 3 week trip to Europe.
