cruising on Constellatoin in August. Need to get from ship to Gamla Stan and I guess I will get street maps somewhere. Can't download like we used to.

I'm not sure you are asking a question...but I'll respond that we took a water taxi from the cruise ship dock to get to Gamla Stan. This was public transportation, and the water taxi station was about 300 yards along the dock from the cruise ship. As I recall, street maps were readily available.

The Constellation will dock in the cruise ship terminal that is within sight of Gamla Stan. From there, you can walk along the water, take a taxi, or take the water taxi if it looks like it is too far to walk, as mentioned. Public transit connections in that area are poor.
