Does anyone have a recomendation for lodging near Stirling, Scotland. I couldn't find any in all the guide books.

Check with the Tourist Information Office when you get there...we found one in the little town near the Wallace Monument. They have accomodations by rating and price...also non-smoking.

You should also check TripAdvisor. I've stayed in a hotel in Stirling a few years ago, but can't find it now. I see that there is a Premier Inn there and I've stayed in one of the Glasgow ones and was very satisfied. It may have been the Hotel Adamo that I stayed in. The hotel had a wonderful restaurant and was Georgian. It was walkable to downtown. I think I got a special rate. ; ) Pam

Two years ago we stayed in a small inn called "The Terraces". It was charming...a few blocks from the center of town and difficult to find. We had to call the innkeepers for more directions!!! But it was worth itll The Stirling Castle is wonderful...hope you will visit it. r
