Does anyone know a inexpensive place to stay near Eastbourne or Hears-monseux castle. Four of us with a car.

Try the Eastbourne tourism website at www.visiteastbourne.com. Eastbourne is something of a holiday resort and conference town, so there are plenty of options as regards price. What you may find difficult, however, is a room which will accommodate four. you may have to get two rooms.
Eastbourne is about 8 miles from Hurstmonceaux Castle.
