Hi to whoever, probably someone in England though. A couple of us will be in London for the month of August ...this year and we especially want to see the Staffordshire Hoard. We will take the train (which rr station though?). We think the Hoard will be in Stoke on Trent...is this so? We will want to stay overnight too...any suggestions on that? We are seniors and one of us uses a cane. We have been in England many times but this new display really has a rev'd to go one more time!

I know that the Hoard is in Stoke on Trent now. You would get the from at Euston Station, there are two trains an hour.

I went to see the hoard (or rather part of it) in Birmingham when they temporarily displayed it a while after it was found (September/October 2009) - it was well worth going to see.
According to the official website's Question and Answer section (www.staffordshirehoard.org.uk) from November 3rd 2009 a selection of artefacts from the hoard has been on display at the British Museum for 'an indefinite period'.
