I am travelling to Ireland at the end of the month with a tour, but we have a free night in Dublin to find dinner by ourselves. It will be my birthday and I really want to have a special meal since we will be eatign with the tour every other day. Anyone have some suggestions? I love seafood, steak and lamb. We would like to stay around Euro 50 or less per person pricewise for the meal and we are looking for something unique. We are staying near Trinity College but we do not mind takign public transport if needed. Thanks,

Hi Lisa, Just returned from Dublin. We ate at several great pubs, but not something very special. Actually, the food was quite good, but I think you are looking for something a little different. While people here on the Helpline give great advice, I turned to Trip Advisor for specific questions about Dublin. You can post your question on the Dublin forum. There are destination experts there and they give great up to the minute advice. Have fun. I loved Dublin.
