Considering the 120 mile trek from Barnstaple to Newquay in summer 2011. Anyone have experience hiking this area of the path? Recommendations? Thanks

I've only done some small chunks of it (and not that segment) and want to finish off two trails in Wales first.
That's probably where I'll head next, but it's going to be rough to find a month to do the whole six hundred miles at one swat.
In essence, I know nothing, and can be of no help. What I want to do is piggy-back on your question.

You might find some info on the sherpavan sitehere in uk.It has a forum for many of the long distance paths.
Do call at the Tinners Arms though, great pub 5 miles from Newquay and theres a backpackers palce next door
