I understand that there is a taxi ride from the cruise terminal at Southampton to the National Express bus station.
What is the name of the bus station nearest the cruise terminal? Also, how much does the taxi cost?
Are there are any other private bus companies operating from the cruise terminal or the bus station, and are tickets available when we arrive? The National Express appears to be ideal but I was just wondering. Many thanks for responses to my previous appeal for help!!

The taxi driver will know where the bus terminal is, just tell him you want the National Express bus. National Express tickets can sometimes be cheaper if you buy them ahead of time on the website; as to whether there will be tickets available when you arrive- well, it depends on if the bus is sold out. At peak times, that can happen. If you know for sure when you'll be arriving I would book ahead. Why cause yourself stress? I don't think there are any other bus services from Southampton direct to Heathrow.
