In the past we have had good luck booking through this group. Just wondering if the website has changed as I cannot access it through the usual address--only by Google and it is not user friendly. Has anyone used this recently?

Hi Susan, I pulled up Smoothhound and acted like I wanted to book a room and it let me, I wasn't on Google.

It has changed a little but you can still pretty much see what you're going to get plus emails of the landlords. www.smoothhound.co.uk. Still works.

I have used Londontown.com and Venere.com to find lodging in Britain.

The only way I was able to access B&B's on the Smoothhound website was through Google. Got a confirmation from SH that request was sent but never heard from a single B&B. Too bad because SH was a good way to locate B&Bs and inns.
