Slane Castle Concerts

Has anyone ever been to a concert at Slane Castle in Ireland? My husband and I have tickets to see Oasis in June and are wondering what to expect. Any advice on what to bring and when to get there would be appreciated. THANKS!

Have not been to a concert there, but The Celtic Women, on PBS a couple years ago, was performed there.

The immediate grounds around the castle are mostly grassy, no trees.

We stayed at the Boyne View B&B just across the road from the gate to the castle.
