Has anyone done skydiving here? I am looking at the skydiving school in Edinburgh, just wondering if the views are good and if it is safe. This will be our first time in Scotland and first time skydiving. Thanks!

I've not sky dived, but if the views are great from the Castle I bet they are pretty darn good when you sky dive. I wish I had the nerve You've got the Firth of Forth, you've got the hills, you can see the bridges, I bet you can see Fife and Bass Rock. Why don't you take a peek at Google Earth and get a preview?

Even in plain, flat Illinois the views are great when you are skydiving. But even though I have jumped before, I wouldn't want to take up vacation time doing it, and particularly not if I was a first-timer. I'd suggest you try it here in the US first, if only to find out if you like it. You wouldn't want to spoil an otherwise great vacation by hating something that you spent that much time and money on.
