What's the most convenient way to go by train from Cornwall/Devon to Gatwick? I'll be staying at the Gatwick Sofitel before catching an early morning flight. Haven't determined where I'll catch the train. Looks like I could get to Paddington, then get over to Victoria Station and grab the Gatwick Express. Are there simpler options?
Also, does anyone know if the Sofitel is within walking distance of the Gatwick station?
