Hi, I tried to get a room at Elmview in August, but they are totally sold out. Nici sent me a lovely email saying they have a self-catering flat adjacent to the B&B. Sounds great, any feedback from anyone? location is the critical item here, because we will go to the 9:00 PM Tattoo one of the nights, and have to get back to the place we stay (no car). thanks!

Try Fraser Suites, 12-26 St Giles Street, website http://www.frasershospitality.com We're staying there in September, so I don't know if they have anything available in August. They are one block off the Royal Mile, almost directly across from St. Giles Cathedral.
