Secret places in London

I read about it in the book "Secret London" by Andrew Duncan. But it has not photographs. Did you go on the guided tour in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office buildings located at Whitehall - Parliament street, near Downing Street. What did you think of it ? Of the 14 gentleman's clubs in the St. James District, only the Travellers Club admits visitors fo guided tours. If you walked through that, do you think going in there is worth the effort ?

Ron, while I'm not familiar with the book, London Walks offers some tours like "Secret London," "Secret London Village" and "Spies and Spycatchers" that might cover the thinks you want to see.

I checked Secret London out from the library before I went to London and I thought it looked quite interesting, but I didn't actually go to any sights covered in the book. Are you interested in what the book covers? Do you have a hankering to see what a private club is like? If any of the places in the book matches your interests than I say go for it, and report back to us!
