If you measure from Inverness, the two airports are equidistant. Go with the best price.

I would agree go with the best price. If you want to connect with Inverness Edinburgh has the connections. But, it's very easy to catch a train. Both airports are so easy to use and so much better than Heathrow. ; ) You can catch buses from either airport to the train station and catch a train to the north. Pam
