Can anyone tell me how to read the Scotland train schedule from Stranraer to Glasgow. Does the italic type mean we have to get off and find the next train to the next station or does it just go straight through? I am confused.
Where are you looking for the schedule? Are you arriving by ferry? If so, it doesn't go to Stranraer any more.
Don't know for certain unless you can link to the specific timetable, but usually italic type in UK timetables does mean you have to make a connection.
Hi, I am looking at Scotrail and see timetable from Stranraer to Glasgow, but alot of italic type so didn't know if I need to get off and connect each time there seems to be no connection.
Have a look at this link to National Rail Enquiries at http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/timesandfares/STR/Glasgow/today/0945/dep (the link's not working... hmmmph) to see what I see. It appears to be an irregular service with some trains going straight through to Glasgow and others involving a short change at Ayr. They all take about 2:25.
