Scotland Explorer vs. British Heritage Passes??

What do you all think?

British Heritage Pass or the Scotland Explorer Pass.

We will be traveling thru Scotland in Sept for total of 11 nights then will be in London for 3 nights and I am thinking of the London Pass for those 3 nights with the travel card.

Any info or personal experienes greatly appreciated.

We spent two weeks in Britain (four days in Scotland, the rest in England) and the British Heritage Pass was ONLY worthwhile because of the number of Scottish sites it covered. But that was because we also used it much in Bath and York. The Brit Pass is practically worthless in London, and the London Pass was expensive unless you cover a lot of ground each day. I recommend adding up the entry fees for all the places you want to see and compare to the passes. My guess is, based on your itinerary, you won't find the passes worthwhile.

The travel pass attached to the London Pass is a waste of money for most visitors because it covers all six travel zones and most people only need a pass for Zones 1 & 2.
