Can anybody recommend a company for minimal charges for renting in 1 country (Norway) and dropping off in another (Sweden?) thanks

We are renting in Norway, dropping in Sweden, and the fee is $450. !! We are going through Auto Europe- Europcar. Have you fond anything better?

Welcome to life. Open jaw doesn't alway work when you get down to the details. You can drive from Oslo to Stockholm in six or seven hours. Gas will stiff you about a hundred bucks. Norwegian Air will fly you back for under a hundred in about an hour. Leave early and you're only out half a day. How much are you spending per day in Scandanavia.....hmmmmmm.

No, I found nothing better. Haven't reserved yet, but have changed my plans, I'm going to fly betw Oslo and Stockholm. I'm now thinking of renting a car in Bergen and dropping it off at Stockholm airport. Even that is pretty steep. I haven't found anything that I even considerable reasonable. As an average tourist who has rented cars in numerous countries in western Europe, Norway feels like another world. I'm trying to stay philosophical. I've wanted to visit Norway for a long time and want to get the most out of it, so I'll still be renting a car for nearly a week, despite the cost.
