Saving Money in London

If you haven't made hotel/bnb reservations in London for this fall, don't worry. I'm staying at the Morgan Guest House on Ebury St. this week and up and down the street are vacancy signs. You could just show up and do a little bargaining, I would guess. I'm using an internet cafe which charges £1 for an hour. Many museums here are free. My railpass for southern England is saving me ££, and the Oyster Card loaded with a week's travel pass is not cheap (it was £23) I use it several times a day on and off the tube and buses. Big breakfasts at the bnb make it possible for me to spend not much more for food each day (about $10-15). Movies at $20 and plays at $60 are "too rich for my blood." I'm staying at Heathrow Lodge near the airport the night before I leave for home. They have a free shuttle to the airport. It's cold here this week; I should have brought winter clothing--long johns would be helpful.
