I will be in the York/Tadcaster area and would like to take a tour of Sam Smith's old brewery at Tadcaster. Does anyone know if such tours are available?

Just spoke to them and the answer is ,no.
She recommended John Smiths , also Tadcaster 01937 832091
And if you are in that fine part of the world.....The Black Sheep brewery tour is excellent.Thats Masham.
There is also a brewery tour in York itself. Google is your friend.

Thanks Richard. I emailed John Smith's and they no longer offer tours either. They recommended the Black Sheep Brewery. As nice as the Black Sheep looks online, I don't know if I want to travel that far during my limited time in York and may just settle for the York Brewery tour. Thanks again.

Think Tetleys just shut up shop in Leeds after a century and move to the mega brewery in Burton.
