Does anyone know a way to get from Salisbury to Stourhead by public transport? I've been searching but it seems a little difficult.

Stourhead is in a pretty rural area, I think that you would have several connections if its even possible but it is worth visiting though. Much of that region is reached best by tour or car rental.

It looks a bit tricky by public transport. Frome Minibuses runs a Salisbury - Stourton service on Tuesdays (number 83) and from Frome on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. See the timetables here: http://www.patsofwinsley.co.uk/frome/ Otherwise you could get the train to Gillingham and get a taxi from there. It's just over 6 miles.
